This drone is the second from my graduation project. With the drone, the peace soldier can communicate with loved ones at home. The soldier can steer the drone home personally, ensuring noone can intercept the message. The hand written letter is put in a rocket and attached to the underside of the drone's wing. When the loved one is in sight, the rocket can be shot and the drone can be flown back.
Inspiration for the drone was an airplane of the WWI era: die Etrich taube. A german plane shaped as a pigeon. The wing and tailshape of the Etrich taube formed the general shape for the drone, although the hull was altered to meet functionality for used as a drone.
